The Columbian Exchange
The Columbian Exchange influenced technological advances in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. The exchange of people, plants, animals, ideas, and technology, began during the colonization of the Americas. This lead to changes for the people in Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe. Some animals that had been adopted such as domesticated horses had helped in war and also peace. The Old World invaders came in with a raft of infectious diseases. Some of the negative effects are how The Old World invaders brought infectious diseases to the New World.
