NEWTON'S Second Law Of Motion And Its Applications
Newton's second law staes that the acceleration produced by a net force on an object is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force.
net force
_______
Acceleration= mass
1)A cricketer while trying to catch the ball reduces the time taken to reduce acceleration which will also affect momentum.
2) While playing baseball the player accelerates the bat quickly so that the force applied on the ball will make it travel farther away.
3) We reduce the mass or acceleration of any body to reduce the force applied.
4) It is easier to push an empty shpping cart, than a full one because one has more mass than the empty one. This means that more force is required to push the full shopping cart.
5) If you use the same force to push a truck and a car, the car will have more acceleration than the truck because the car has less mass than that of the truck.
Therefore, we can conclude that the more the mass the more the inertia, and the lesser the mss the lesser the inertia.
